Bread baker — Angus

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Angus, Scotland. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
