Lifting rigger — Sullivan County

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sullivan County, Tennessee. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
