AC mechanic — Contra Costa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Contra Costa County, California. You will work at a busy AC installation company. The role involves: • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines Requirements: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests Part-time with flexible hours.
