Site dozer operator — Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes We offer $22 per hour plus benefits.
