Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Hancock County, Kentucky. The job is in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets.
