Core maker wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Douglas County, Oregon. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
