Lifting rigger — Osage County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Osage County, Kansas. You will be based at a container port. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On a typical shift you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller.
