Sand plant operator — Irewole

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Irewole, Osun State. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes ₦4,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
