Road roller operator — Slough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Slough, England. The job is at a plant hire yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension.
