Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Gombe State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Funakaye, Gombe State. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
