Fusing press operator • McDowell County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in McDowell County, North Carolina. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
