Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Watonwan County, Minnesota. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
