Now hiring: we are hiring a waitress in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The job is in a café. You should have: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts The role involves: • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages 5+ years on the tools preferred.
