Power float operator wanted in Presque Isle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Presque Isle County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
