Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Mashegu, Niger State. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
