What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
