Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Hyde County, South Dakota. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press.
