Now hiring: we are hiring a beldar in Lonoke County, Arkansas. You will be based with a civil contractor. Day to day you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
