Backhoe loader operator — Tippecanoe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
