Metal caster — Bossier Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
