Safety marshal — Lehigh County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day to day you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 1+ years on the tools preferred.
