Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
