Sheet metal press operator — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Wayne County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
