Fettler — Kumbotso

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Kumbotso, Kano State. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
