Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine You will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
