Backhoe loader operator — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Jefferson County, New York. The job is at a landfill site. The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience.
