Crane operator — Randolph County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Randolph County, North Carolina. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
