Elevator technician — Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Full-time, day shift.
