Mining dozer operator wanted in Juneau County

Join our team: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Juneau County, Wisconsin. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
