Trowel-trade bricklayer — Graham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Graham County, Kansas. You will work on a busy housing site. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
