Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts.
