Crane operator wanted in Chesterfield County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Six days a week, one day off.
