Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Winona County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
