Vacancy available: power float operator (Wales)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. You will be based in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules You will load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience.
