Concrete labourer — Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Johnson County, Kansas. You will work on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
