Port container crane operator — Northampton County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
