Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Searcy County, Arkansas. The job is with a civil contractor. You will wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
