Immediate opening: TIG welder (Yobe State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Nguru, Yobe State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent 5+ years on the tools preferred.
