Dozer operator — Missoula County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Missoula County, Montana. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. You will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
