Structural MIG welder • Ayamelum, Anambra State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ayamelum, Anambra State. You will work at a busy production line. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
