Die-casting operator wanted in Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Butler County, Iowa. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $9,500 per project, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
