Foundry operative — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Part-time with flexible hours.
