Semi-automatic welder — Cascade County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Cascade County, Montana. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
