Argon welder — Gilmer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
