Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Walton County, Georgia. You will be based on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker You should have: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio 3+ years on the tools preferred.
