Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Cooper County, Missouri. The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
