Argon welding operator • Saint Charles County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Saint Charles County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
