Trowel-trade bricklayer — Washington Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a commercial construction site. The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
