Sewing machine operator — Kennebec County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Kennebec County, Maine. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
