Industrial sewing operator wanted in Lauderdale County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
